Job summary

ACSIS, a Crane NXT subsidiary, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support key accounting operations including general ledger management, reconciliations, month-end closes, revenue documentation, and audit support. The role offers exposure to ERP systems and a collaborative, global tech environment focused on innovation and digital transformation.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3+ years in general accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of general accounting experience required.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables; ERP experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and updating balances.
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and balance sheet accounts.
• Process invoicing and revenue documentation with attention to internal controls.
• Assist month-end close with accruals and adjustments.
• Support AP, AR, and payroll functions as needed.
• Prepare schedules for audits and tax filings.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and updating account balances.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, credit card logs, and balance sheet accounts.
• Invoicing and Billing: Processing of sales orders, customer invoicing, and supporting revenue documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Month-End Close: Assist with closing processes, accruals, and adjustments.
• Transactions: Support accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll functions.
• Audits and Tax: Prepare supporting documents and schedules for internal and external audits or tax filings.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of general accounting experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP Concur, Oracle NetSuite).
• Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of US GAAP or IFRS standards
