Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is hiring a Staff Accountant at our Monroe, NC facility. The role reports to the Senior Accountant and supports monthly close, journal entries, AP coding, and balance sheet reconciliations. You’ll work across systems, analyze data, and contribute to accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with 2–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel, and excellent communication skills. Some travel is possible (up to 5%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills: VLOOKUPs, pivots, macros.
• Ability to work with multiple systems to retrieve/analyze data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Limited travel up to 5% domestically.
