Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Accessories Division in Monroe, NC seeks a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will support journal entries, GL coding, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring accurate reporting.

You will analyze tax returns, participate in special projects, and help optimize internal controls. Domestic travel up to 5% may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of professional work experience in finance/accounting.
• Strong MS Excel skills including v-lookups, pivots and macros.
• Proficiency with various data systems to retrieve and analyze data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with business partners.
• Up to 5% travel domestically if necessary.

Responsibilities
