Job summary

Ryan Fireprotection, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant in Minneapolis, MN, with growth potential to an Assistant Controller. You will work with the Controller and CFO and collaborate with the headquarters accounting team in Noblesville, IN.

Responsibilities include AR, cash management, payroll support, and monthly close, with training travel as needed. You will help prepare monthly financials for the parent and affiliates, assist in budgets, and support job cost reporting with project managers.

Qualifications

• Review accounts receivable and aging reports, and assist with collections.
• Support the payment process to vendors and subcontractors and help confirm lien waivers are properly collected
• Monitor daily cash balances
• Support the weekly payroll process, including the timely submission of monthly union reports
• Prepare monthly financial statements for the parent Company and affiliated entities, and review them with the Controller
• Assist the CFO and Controller in creating budgets for ownership and team leaders
• Support the monthly job cost report process with the CFO and project managers
• Perform special assignments as directed by RVP and Management
• Build skills and take on added responsibility over time as the company grows

Staff Accountant (Growth Path to Assistant Controller)

Ryan Fireprotection (Frontier Fire Protection) is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team, with the potential to grow into an Assistant Controller role. This position is based in Minneapolis, but the person will work with the Controller and CFO and lean on our Accounting team at our headquarters in Noblesville, IN. Travel to HQ for training will be available as needed.
