Responsibilities

• Own the accounts payable process from invoice through payment.
• Prepare bank, balance sheet, and loan-related reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and supporting schedules.
• Record and reconcile loan activity including fundings, principal, interest, fees, draws, and payoffs.
• Research discrepancies and trace transactions across multiple systems.
• Support financial reporting, audits, tax preparation, and lender reporting.
• Work with QuickBooks Online, Excel, banking platforms, and loan origination and servicing systems.
• Help identify smarter, more efficient ways to improve accounting processes, controls, reporting, and automation.

MM Lending is looking for a Staff Accountant who is ready to take ownership, solve problems, and build meaningful hands‑on experience across a growing lending operation. You’ll work directly with the Controller and gain exposure to everything from accounts payable and reconciliations to loan accounting, month‑end close, financial reporting, and process improvement.

What You’ll Do
