Job Details

• The Senior Accountant will apply accounting principles to analyze financial information, support the month-end close process, and prepare accurate financial reports. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional accuracy, and the capacity to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
• Compile and analyze financial information; prepare and post general ledger entries.
• Execute month-end and general ledger closings.
• Conduct revenue and expense analysis to identify trends, variances, and shifts.
• Audit supporting documents (contracts, vouchers, etc.) to substantiate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies/procedures.
• Review and correct errors in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Verify, post, and reconcile business transactions, including receipts and disbursements.
• Maintain updated records for P&L, taxes, liabilities, and asset accounts.
• Prepare special financial reports for leadership based on account analysis and trends.
