The Staff Accountant will own tasks, maintain attention to detail, and identify improvements, with collaboration across finance and operations. A strong GAAP background and solid Excel/financial systems skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate) are preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Partner with colleagues across finance and operations to ensure completeness of accounting records.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Help strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting processes.
• Participate in audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Assist with special projects, systems implementations, and process improvement initiatives.

The Staff Accountant will demonstrate strong ownership of assigned tasks, attention to detail, and the initiative to identify improvements. With demonstrated performance, this individual will be well‑positioned for advancement to Senior Accountant and beyond.
