Job Title: Senior Accountant (Bilingual – Korean/English)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Direct Hire

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Remote on Fridays

Position Summary:

Our client in the HVAC industry is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting team. This role involves maintaining accounting ledgers and ensuring general ledger accuracy, conducting transaction reconciliation, providing analysis of invoices and expense reports, and assisting with invoice processing. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work independently, and collaborate with team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate and complete the monthly closing and audit process.
• Maintain accurate records and oversee the general ledger by recording daily financial transactions and analyzing account information.
• Prepare checks, payments, bank deposits, and perform reconciliation for bank statements.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting such as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/statements.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and income statement accounts.
• Verify source documents including invoices, receipts, and employee expense reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, including general ledger management, financial systems, budgets, reporting, and audits.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel; good mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual Korean/English required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; handle multiple projects under pressure.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily in-office with some remote work; may require operating a computer, viewing video displays, and lifting office materials.
• Must be capable of occasional extended hours to meet deadlines.
