Job summary

CFS in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a collaborative accounting team. The role focuses on timely financial reporting, accurate data entry, and supporting month-end close onsite. The position offers a competitive salary in the $70k–$80k range and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will handle accounts payable, perform reconciliations, and contribute to GAAP‑compliant statements. Fully onsite role with strong Excel skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Knowledge of GAAP; experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ad hoc financial reports, analyses, and accounting schedules.
• Assist with accounts payable processing and weekly payment activities.
• Perform reconciliations between subledgers and the general ledger.
• Support month-end reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies, variances, and audit requests.
