Job summary

Red Gold LLC in Indiana seeks a Plant Accountant to manage plant accounting, reporting, and analytics, including sales revenue accounting and trade funds, plus fixed asset and tax-related duties. You will support month-end close, budgeting, and bank reconciliations in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and multi-tasking.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong Excel skills.
• Prior work experience or internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plant accounting, reporting and analytical responsibilities.
• Sales revenue accounting, including trade fund spending and analysis.
• Fixed asset accounting, including sales tax and property tax.
• General accounting, including bank reconciliations, month end close, journal entries, account analysis, and budgeting.
• Monitoring, record keeping and actions for Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and prerequisite programs.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management.

• Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements
• Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Prior work experience or internship preferred
