Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Staff Accountant in El Paso, TX to join our finance team. You’ll prepare and analyze financial reports, support forecasting, and drive performance with GAAP-compliant practices.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication. You’ll multitask across projects and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining important financial reports.
• Analyzing complex financial records and reports.
• Collaborating with the financial team to perform forecasting, reporting, and metrics tracking.
• Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
• Reporting on financial performance and preparing for leadership reviews.
• Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and non-compliance issues.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems and procedures.
• Performing variance analysis and preparing account reconciliations.
• Assisting with financial and tax audits.
• Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team.
