Core Specialty Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our general accounting team in a hybrid work environment.
You will contribute to the monthly close, accounting accruals, and asset capitalization while coordinating with FP&A and division presidents on DAC/NDAC analyses. The ideal candidate holds a BA in accounting or finance with strong US GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
- The Staff Accountant will be a critical member of our general accounting team. They will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of general accounting accruals and capitalized assets, as well as assisting with cost center, divisional, and legal entity allocations. Position is open to a hybrid work environment.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team Must have good working knowledge of US GAAP accounting Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required Insurance experience is a plus
