SHIRVANIAN & ASSOCIATES CPAS A PROF is a boutique CPA firm in California seeking an experienced tax accountant and bookkeeper to work closely with the firm partner. This full-time role is available immediately and offers an excellent and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, and individual returns, quarterly estimated payments, tax research, and client memoranda.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll tax and income tax.
• Preparation and/or review of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns.
• Preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments.
• CPA certification preferred or near completion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Able to work independently and multi-task effectively.

Established boutique CPA firm searching for an experienced tax accountant and bookkeeper to work alongside firm partner. This position is full-time and available immediately.

Preferred requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll tax and income tax
• Preparation and/or review of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns
• Preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments
• Assume tax preparation responsibility for the more complex returns
• Tax research and preparation of client memorandum
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Lacerte tax software
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of recent tax experience in public accounting
• CPA certification preferred-or near completion
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Able to work efficiently and effectively independently
• Able to multi-task and prioritize simultaneous projects
