General Description

Great opportunity for a Staff Accountant working within a great team in the Burlington area. looking for a skilled full cycle accountant that wants a career path working for a non-profit. Some understanding of grant accounting analyzing grant costs, to ensure they are valid and reimbursable. Plus a great all around accounting exposure through closing.

Job Duties

1. Perform grant accounting.
2. Prepare regular financial reports.
3. Prepare invoicing for cost reimbursement.
4. Coordinate with the Finance Director and the AP Manager to assure that purchase orders are properly coded to the appropriate General Ledger account.
5. Assist the AP Manager with developing and maintaining an approved updated vendor list.
6. Coordinate, monitor and verify per capita distribution checks.

Minimum Qualifications

1. BS degree in finance, accounting or a related field and at least three (3) years of comparable accounting or AS degree and at least seven (7) years of comparable work experience.
2. GAAP exp.
