Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking a Staff Accountant in Bristol, IN to support day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, reconciliations, and GL activities. Training available for the right candidate with 0-2 years of experience.

The role requires strong detail orientation, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Opportunities to contribute to audits and accounting projects are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of accounting experience; internship or related experience is a plus.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounts payable invoices and payments.
• Assist with accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, cash applications, and account follow-up.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with general ledger entries and month-end closing activities.
• Review accounting records for accuracy and completeness.
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and customer or vendor accounts.
• Assist with maintaining accurate vendor and customer records.
• Prepare routine accounting reports and supporting schedules.
• Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed.
• Maintain organized documentation and comply with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide support to the accounting team and other departments as needed.

What you'll do:

SUMMARY:

This position will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. Previous experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
