Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team in Atlanta, GA. This position will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger activity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, credit card transactions, cash receipts, and related accounting activity.
• Enter payroll information, assist with payroll reconciliations, and prepare monthly statements for outstanding accounts receivable.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger and credit card accounts, and assist with account analysis and discrepancy resolution.
• Support month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, audits, and maintenance of accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous accounting experience with accounts payable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
