Mercedes-Benz Stadium is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This individual reports to the Accounting Manager and assists in day-to-day and month-end accounting for Mercedes-Benz Stadium, including supporting annual audits and various special projects.

The role seeks a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with added value from stadium/entertainment accounting experience and strong collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience in stadium/entertainment accounting and reporting is a plus.
• Public Accounting or Corporate Accounting experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in estimate, settlement, accounting, and reporting for stadium events.
• Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining relevant records and files.
• Assist in preparation of account reconciliations.
• Perform month-end and year-end close responsibilities.
• Assist finances team with annual financial audits.

• Complete ad hoc analyses and other projects as assigned.

About Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the new home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United and opened for its first events in August 2017. The stadium is also host of numerous other sports and entertainment events. Position Summary

We are hiring for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This individual will report to the Accounting Manager and assist in the day-to-day and month-end accounting for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Additionally, s/he will assist in the completion of the Company’s annual audits and on various special projects. S/he will provide strategic support to the finance team and management including process documentation, controls implementation, treasury management and other requested projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Interest and/or experience with stadium/entertainment accounting and reporting a plus
• Public Accounting or Corporate Accounting experience a plus
• Great Plains, Concur, and Vena experience a plus
