• BA or BS in Accounting or a related field with 2+ years of general accounting, A/P, and A/R experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with IQMS Manufacturing ERP system is a plus
• Strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook including Advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs)
• Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking ability, and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality

Responsabilités

• Participate in month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions

• Handle A/R tasks including cash receipts, collections, customer master, aging reports, and invoicing
• Handle A/P tasks including processing invoices, weekly payments, and Sales and Use Tax submission
• Maintain vendor master data and respond to updates

• Track monthly PPV and controllable costs; assist forecasting
• Track temporary employee hours and report to HR
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as directed

Position Purpose

Reports to Controller and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with various members of the facility business unit. Periodic interaction with the Corporate Finance team.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

• Participate in the month-end financial close activities including preparation of various journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions/confirmations.
• Provide support to corporate office with monthly deliverables.
• Responsible for all A/R tasks including cash receipts, cash collections, maintaining the customer master, Aging reports, and daily sales invoicing.
• Responsible for all A/P tasks including timely processing of invoices, weekly payment runs, and Sales and Use Tax submission.
• Maintain the vendor master for new vendor additions or changes to existing vendors.
• Post daily inventory receipts and reconcile the receipts not invoiced report.
• Track monthly Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
• Track controllable costs weekly and provide actuals to plant management; provide assistance to Controller on forecasting upcoming monthly expenses.
• Track temporary employee hours and provide data to the team and HR.
• Perform ad hoc projects and analyses as directed.
• Responsibility to follow all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures and safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

• BA or BS in Accounting or a related field plus 2+ years of general accounting, A/P, and A/R experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with IQMS Manufacturing ERP system a plus.
• Must have strong experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook) and using Advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLookups, XLookups)
• Great organization skills, with an ability to multi-task and a strong commitment to improving efficiency, timeliness, quality, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or with limited instruction. Self-starter preferred.
• Focus on process improvements of existing processes to eliminate waste.

Physical Requirements

This position is primarily sedentary.
