Job summary

New York City FC seeks a Director of Facility Security to lead physical security and life-safety programs for Etihad Park and support CFA operations in Orangeburg, NY. You will guide design, integration, and operational readiness of security infrastructure during construction and pre-opening, transitioning to ongoing facility security leadership.

The role requires overseeing the SOC, security technologies, screening, and perimeter security, with a focus on threat mitigation and incident

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in physical security, facility security, law enforcement, public safety, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead security design and integration for Etihad Park through construction, commissioning, and opening, overseeing the SOC, CCTV, access control, alarms, screening, and related security tech.
• Lead non-event facility security operations at Etihad Park, including the 24/7 SOC and assigned personnel and resources; establish standards for monitoring, communications, alarm response, incident escalation, and documentation.
• Oversee screening, access control, and perimeter security, including staff and contractor entrances, loading docks, deliveries, vehicle access, and restricted areas.
• Develop and maintain target-hardening and threat-reduction strategies, including hostile vehicle mitigation and counter-UAS capabilities.
• Oversee fire/life safety and emergency readiness; assist with drills and exercises.
• Lead or oversee investigations of facility security incidents and ensure follow-up and corrective action.
• Develop and maintain facility security policies, procedures, post orders, and operational standards; evaluate operations and threats.
• Coordinate security planning with architects, engineers, construction teams, technology partners, vendors, MLS, and public-safety agencies.
• Provide leadership to personnel and resources assigned to facility security and support CFA operations in Orangeburg, NY.
