Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of sports stadium projects in Dallas, TX. You will own safety, quality, cost, schedule, and stakeholder alignment from preconstruction through turnover, building a high-performing team across precon, field ops, estimating, VDC/BIM, safety, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent with leadership experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership in construction projects and a track record of delivering complex programs.
• Experience leading end-to-end stadium/arena or large-scale construction initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery from feasibility to turnover and closeout.
• Establish and manage budgets, schedules, and risk controls to hit targets.
• Oversee procurement strategy, solicitations, bid leveling, and contract negotiations.
• Direct field operations including sequencing, logistics, site safety, QA/QC, and productivity.
• Monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Partner with owners, architects, engineers, and authorities to maintain approvals and drive execution.
• Collaborate with VDC/BIM teams and champion Safety-First culture.
• Ensure permitting, inspections, TCO/CO milestones, commissioning, and turnover.
