Stadium Operations - Part Time, Stadium Security Guard

Position Overview

We are seeking an honest, attentive, and perceptive individual to join our Security team. You will be responsible for securing the INTER & Co Stadium and protecting the Club’s property, guests, staff, and players. Your role is crucial in ensuring safety, promoting security, and acting as a visible deterrent against irregular activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol the INTER & Co Stadium property to monitor and prevent intrusion, damage, hazards, and breaches of security.
• Lock and unlock doors and walk facilities.
• Provide a visible presence that enforces safety and security.
• Monitor activity throughout the facilities via closed circuit television.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, including fire alarms and burglar alarms.
• Monitor access to the venue on both event and non-event days.

Additional Duties

• Assist with event day security coverage.
• Detect and confront unauthorized persons and violators of security procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities for unlawful or irregular activities.
• Use communication devices clearly and effectively.
• Write incident reports and report malfunctions or safety issues.
• Interview victims and witnesses as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Implement emergency plans during incidents.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety plans for daily operations and special events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, or related fields preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
• Ability to pass background checks and possess valid FL driver’s license.
• Relevant credentials as mandated by law.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, run, kneel, climb stairs, and react quickly.
• Work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in adverse conditions.
• Prolonged sitting and monitoring surveillance equipment.
