Job summary

Prasco is seeking a Stadium Operations assistant to support daily maintenance at Prasco Park and Legacy Field. The role involves turf care, field setup, and coordinating with events and facilities teams.

Vous will help with scheduling, mowing, chalking lines, and maintaining the infield including mound and plate areas, while adapting to a fast-paced outdoor environment and long hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Turf Management or similar field preferred.
• 1-2 years of turf management and stadium operations preferred.
• Certification in Sports Turf Management Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of Prasco Park, Legacy Field, and surrounding areas.
• Coordinate daily maintenance schedules for stadiums, fertilization program, and gym facilities.
• Mow, edge, chalk lines, and maintain infield dirt, pitcher's mound, and home plate areas.
• Assist Director of Stadium Operations in coordinating the daily needs for game day operations at Prasco Park and Legacy Field.
• Support Events & Hospitality, Facilities, etc. in event management/setup outside specific tasks for baseball games.
• Work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in outdoor environments.

General Purpose of Position:Assist with all operations at Prasco Park and Legacy Field. Maintaining a safe, professional, and game-ready playing surface.Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Duties/Responsibilities1Assist with the maintenance of Prasco Park, Legacy Field and surrounding areas2Assist in coordinating schedules with daily maintenance of stadiums, fertilization program, and athletic facilities (gym)3Mowing, edging, chalking lines, and maintaining the infield dirt, pitcher's mound, and home plate areas.4Assist Director of Stadium Operations in coordinating the daily needs for game day operations at Prasco Park and Legacy Field5Assist supporting departments including Events & Hospitality, Facilities, etc. in event management/setup outside specific tasks for baseball games6Ability to work long, irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced, outdoor environmentsTravel:Position may require 5-10% travelWork Shift:This position works days.
