Texas Health Mansfield Stadium is seeking a turf technician to assist in day-to-day field maintenance for a professional sports venue. Responsibilities include operating turf management equipment, assisting in stadium field prep for events, and supporting setup and teardown of events.

Ideal candidate is 18+, able to lift 50-75 pounds, flexible schedule including nights and weekends, comfortable working outdoors in all weather, with prior field experience preferred.

• Able to walk, run or stand for extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain.
• Experience on sports fields or landscape management preferred.
• Irrigation management/repair experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in day-to-day turf management for a professional sports field.

• Perform preventive maintenance on inventory, irrigation systems, mowers, tables, and chairs.
• Assist in production, setup, teardown, and execution of events at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Assist in day-to-day turf management practices associated with maintaining professional sports field.
• Operate and maintain turf management equipment.
• Assist in stadium field preparation, set up, and tear down.
• Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance projects to keep all inventory in working condition.
• Including but not limited to irrigation system, mowers, tables and chairs.
• Assist in the production, setup, teardown, and execution of all events at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium.
• These events include, but are not limited to, major events (concerts, conventions, sporting events, etc.) and small events (corporate retreats, luncheons, meetings, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, pull, carry or push 50 - 75 pounds in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to physically walk, run or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold and rain.
• Experience working on sports fields, golf courses, or landscape management highly preferred but not required.
• Irrigation management and repair experience preferred.
• Ability to setup rooms by interpreting diagrams and follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail and last minute updates or requests.
