Job summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking a Part Time Groundskeeper for the 2027 MLS season at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role averages 20–25 hours per week and is paid hourly. College credit is available if needed.

You will assist the turf team with daily field maintenance, MLS-standard testing, pitch prep for matches and events, and the application of turf management practices. Candidates pursuing a turf-related degree or recent grads with related experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in turf management or related field.
• Able to work outside regular hours including weekends.
• Reliable means of getting to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist TQL Stadium grounds crew in day-to-day operations.
• Conduct testing procedures for performance control to meet MLS standards.
• Aid in preparing TQL Stadium’s pitch for all FC Cincinnati matches and events as necessary.
• Maintain effective daily operations and suggest process improvements when necessary.
• Assist in implementing sports turf management best practices, such as aerification, fertilizing, integrated pest management, field lining, and chemical applications.
