Job Description

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Security personnel responsible for checking bags, enforcing access control, and implementing safety policies while providing excellent customer service to enhance guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in all aspects of event preparation and execution.
2. Manage venue entry, including scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic.
3. Screen guests using bag searches, metal detectors, and ID verification.
4. Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring security breaches at key points.
5. Respond promptly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests if needed.
6. Understand policies and regulations of various venues and events.
7. Provide a positive guest experience at entrances, aisles, and other areas.
8. Assist guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing as per local laws; may be required before employment.
• Successfully pass background checks and drug tests; additional screening if driving is involved.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
