Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a Stack/Palletizer. The role operates in a cold environment and involves stacking boxes up to 50 lbs, transferring them from conveyors to pallets, and occasionally using a forklift or pallet jack.

A handheld scanner helps ensure accurate palletization, with other duties as assigned. The schedule runs Sunday night through Thursday night with some weekends, offering benefits after some period and a base pay of $22.94 plus a $1 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Pallet Jack or forklift certification preferred.
• Handheld scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes that weigh up to 50lbs in the correct numbered amount
• Transfer boxes from conveyer belt to wooden pallet without damaging the product
• Occasionally operate forklift and pallet jack
• Use handheld scanner and stickers to palletize boxes accurately
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Pallet Jack or forklift certification preferred
• Hand held scanner experience preferred
• Ability to work in cold environment
• Ability work well with other
• Ability to live 50 lbs. Or more
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication (Prove it test)
