Job description

Job Title: Stacker Crane Operator

Join us at MetalTek International as a Stacker Crane Operator.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to transport materials to and from the Heat Treat Department.
2. Prepare heat treat loads, load and unload furnaces, and perform quench treatments according to established procedures.
3. Maintain an orderly Heat Treat Department, monitor skid inventories, and inspect oil tank equipment.
4. Report equipment malfunctions or service needs to the Heat Treat Operator/Facilitator.
5. Monitor furnace conditions and support other department members with straightening duties as needed.
6. Accurately complete all department paperwork, including heat treatment and material movement records, both digitally and manually.
7. Assist and instruct new employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing material flow.
• Ability to handle detailed paperwork.
