Job summary

Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel is seeking a Stable Laborer to maintain barn stalls, paddocks, and grounds, while supporting the Racing Office during racing season.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain a Kentucky gaming/racing license; prior experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to perform physical work in varying weather and interact professionally with guests.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain barn stalls.
• Grounds upkeep including general landscaping (grass cutting, weed eating).
• Provide guest service to ensure a favorable guest experience.
• Ensure safety of team members and guests; help reduce time-loss injuries.
• Report maintenance needs for structures and stalls.
• Other duties as assigned.
