Our Product Systems Quality organization plays a critical role in ensuring Apple delivers data center systems that are not only innovative, but exceptionally stable, reliable, and optimized for large-scale deployment. We work at the intersection of hardware and software, partnering closely with engineering teams to uncover risk early, influence design decisions, and help bring world-class data center platforms to life. Our Stability Quality Engineering team is highly technical and focused on system‑level stability and stress validation of customized data center platforms. As a Stability Quality Engineer, you'll join us in designing and executing hardware‑centric software tests that surface low‑level issues in CPUs, components, and subsystems. Your contributions will directly influence product readiness decisions and help define the quality bar for Apple's data center infrastructure.
As a Stability Quality Engineer focused on Data Center projects, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Apple's data center systems at scale. You'll plan, develop, and execute system and rack‑level stability and stress tests with a strong focus on hardware‑centric software risks. Working across multiple systems, you'll design automated tests, collaborate with hardware and software engineering partners, and conduct deep technical investigations to identify and mitigate system‑level risks in large‑scale deployment environments.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. This role might also be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
