Job summary

Belcan is seeking an Associate Stability Research Scientist II in Clayton, NC for a 12-month contract (potential temp-to-perm). The role supports the Stability Group by overseeing stability chamber areas, storage, and documentation of the sample inventory to maintain compliant programs for licensed products and developmental projects.

Responsibilities include managing stability sample workflows, coordinating with Packaging, maintaining labeling equipment, and ensuring GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical stability programs.
• Knowledge of ICH guidelines and GMP.
• Strong documentation and data-tracking abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory for active stability studies with documentation.
• Coordinate with Packaging to acquire stability samples.
• Maintain and audit labeling and GMP compliance.
• Generate monthly pull schedules for stability testing.
• Initiate purchase orders and work orders for Stability Group.
• Train staff on sample handling and inventory procedures.
• Monitor incubator operation and temperature/humidity trends.
