St. Thomas More is recruiting for a Senior High Math and Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year. This is a probationary position with the possibility of a continuous contract if the candidate is successful. Course assignment includes courses in Secondary Math & Sciences, Grades 9-12.
The teacher would teach various math/science courses and create a quality learning environment for students throughout the province. Courses will include various courses in the area of senior high academic Math and Science in grades 9-12, and potentially other courses depending on course enrollment and teachers' skill set.
The successful candidate ideally will have training, knowledge, and experience in secondary education and require a high degree of technical proficiency in the use of educational technology, providing education from a distance, an understanding of assessment for learning, inclusive education, Indigenous students and be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Experience with PowerSchool would be an asset.
Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
