Position Summary:

The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising a high-quality early childhood classroom at the St. Mary’s County Family YMCA. This role ensures compliance with Maryland licensing standards while supporting the YMCA mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The YMCA is expanding childcare services in St. Mary’s County through a new licensed center serving local families, with the YMCA responsible for staffing, programming, and daily operations.
