Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to work alongside passionate fans in one of the best ballparks in baseball? We're looking for enthusiastic, part-time Ushers to join our game day staff! As an Usher with the St. Louis Cardinals, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience. From maintaining a clean and welcoming environment to supporting the high standards of service that define our organization, your contributions will help us continue delivering a top-tier fan experience every game day. The St. Louis Cardinals take pride in the excellent service we provide our guests each time they come to a ballgame. You will be responsible for upholding the reputation that we have established with high standards regarding the guest service experience provided to our fans.

Employees must communicate well and be friendly, knowledgeable, and well-groomed, assertive and unafraid to intervene in conflict situations. You must also be in good physical condition, as the job entails a great deal of walking, climbing stairs and standing on concrete surfaces in both cold and extremely hot weather. Please understand that you are hired to serve the guests. There will be nights when your responsibilities prevent you from seeing the game. Compensation:
The 2025 rate of pay for first year Ushers is $15.13 per hour with a pay raise after your first season.

Job Duties:

1. Greet our guests and assist them throughout the game to ensure their visit is safe, clean, fun, and family friendly.
2. Patrol aisles, concourses, and other areas, maintaining a sharp watch for potential problems. If necessary, intervene and correct the situation before it interferes with other guests' enjoyment of the event.
3. Distribute promotional items, perform inspections at the gates, monitor the walk-through metal detectors, and provide secondary screening of guests when they enter the ballpark. Busch Stadium is a smoke-free facility; however, these positions and certain others may subject employees to secondhand smoke.

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 16 years of age or older
2. Must be able to arrive up to two hours prior to game time
3. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
4. Must be able to work in all weather conditions - both extremely hot and cold weather
