Job summary

Halbrook Wood Windham in Missouri is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a growing litigation-focused team. You will represent clients in proceedings, draft documents, and advise on transactions, with direct client interaction and hands-on experience.

You'll work on a mentor-led team with one partner guiding your development, as the firm expands its St. Louis office, building long-term professional relationships and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri; licensure in Illinois is a plus, and an eventual requirement
• Excellent writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to convey complex concepts clearly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and advise clients on legal transactions.
• Newer associates will gain hands-on experience in a variety of practice areas, work directly with clients, and play a key role in successful litigation of cases.
• Each associate works directly on a team with one partner who mentors the attorney and is committed to their professional development and career growth.
