Job Title: Part-Time Cafeteria Worker
Hours: Part-Time (approx. 15–20 hours/week, Mon–Fri during school hours)
St. Joseph Hessen Cassel School is seeking a friendly and reliable Cafeteria Worker to join our school nutrition team. This role assists with daily meal prep, serving, and clean-up to ensure our elementary students enjoy healthy meals in a warm, welcoming, and faith-filled environment.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (prior food service experience is a plus, but not required).
Basic understanding of food hygiene and willingness to complete ServSafe or food handler training.
Successful completion of required diocesan background checks and child protection training (e.g., Virtus/Protecting God’s Children).
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 25–30 lbs.
Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
Respect for and support of the Catholic mission and values of the school community.
