Job description

St. Joseph seeks a positive, part time person to be a cafeteria assistant.

• Know and follow State and Health department regulations and procedures and follows them such as hand washing procedures, wearing appropriate clothing, aprons, hair nets, gloves, etc.
• Prepare and serve food items; maintain food service facilities, equipment, and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.
• May need to transportfood from Garrett Keyser Butler in personal vehicle to St. Joseph school using the warming/cooling cambros.
• Evaluates, instructs, and maintains the highest quality possible of all foods served daily.Properly temping, prepping, cooking, holding, cooling, and storing all food items in a safe and efficient manner.

Abilities required: Be able to lift 50 pounds from the floor to a cart.
