Catholic Diocese of Columbus is looking for a part-time Intervention Aide for Grades 6-8 at St. Andrew School in Columbus. This role supports student growth, collaborates with teachers, and works within the intervention department for the 2026-2027 school year.

St. Andrew School, located at 4081 Reed Road in Columbus, is seeking a part-time Intervention Aide (Grades 6-8) for the 2026-2027 school year.
Under the direct supervision of the teacher, this position provides support to the teacher and assists the teacher in planning and implementing lesson plans, incorporating all component plans, and leading large and small groups of students; performs clerical/receptionist duties and other duties as assigned. The position is expected to use personal judgment in carrying out routine duties and responsibilities.

Required: Compliance with FBI and BCI&I background checks and completion of Protecting God's Children program.
High School degree is required.
Ability to communicate effectively and understand the Catholic perspective; ability to multitask and establish priorities; high level of integrity and professionalism; ability to maintain a flexible attitude and approach toward assignments and operate successfully under appropriate guidelines; light typing, filing and proofreading skills; excellent communication skills and knowledge of office equipment; knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write short correspondence and memos, and effectively communicate to customers, parents, and other visitors to the school.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to use U.S. standards of currency and measurement.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to maintain all information in a highly confidential manner.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.
