Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Eligibility Specialist in Wisconsin to support the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families. You will conduct eligibility reviews, coordinate with case workers, gather documentation, and prepare SSA filings to ensure timely benefits.

The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree preferred, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret federal and state laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electronic systems eligibility review for youth entering care and annually thereafter.
• Coordinate with case workers to collect documentation and signatures for SSA function reports.
• File SSI, RSDI, CDR, DAC and related applications with SSA with complete supporting evidence.
• Respond to SSA notices and manage evidence submissions to avoid delays.
• Maintain positive relationships with the client and colleagues; travel within Wisconsin as needed.
