Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Eligibility Specialist to support the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families (DCF).

You will conduct eligibility reviews, gather documentation, and manage SSA communications and filings, helping ensure accurate benefits for youth in care across Wisconsin. The role emphasizes collaboration with case workers and adherence to state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret federal and state laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct electronic eligibility reviews for youth entering care and annually thereafter.
• Collaborate with case workers to collect documentation and obtain required signatures.
• Manage SSI, RSDI, CDR, 18-year-old conversion, and DAC applications in PCG's case management system.
• Respond to SSA notices and file appeals when necessary.
• Prepare income redeterminations and maintain timely communications with SSA.
