Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer to help design next-generation fulfillment center systems. The role focuses on high-performance physical solutions, robotics, and data analytics to optimize product flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field.
• 2+ yrs of experience as an industrial engineer, process engineer, systems engineer, manufacturing engineer, project manager or related occupation.
• Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD and analytics tools like Tableau or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create physical processing and material handling solutions using robotics and data analytics to meet product flow requirements.
• Identify and examine key operational and financial metrics as part of program and feature selection.
• Coordinate with systems and operations engineering teams to develop product features and optimize FC performance.
• Manage multiple projects and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external partners, contractors and vendors.
• Develop models as required to solve complex problems.
