Job summary

MedSynergies is seeking a Database Developer (SSAS) to design and maintain data marts and OLAP cubes in a SQL Server environment. You will perform dimensional modeling, create MDX measures, and configure security for BI reporting across Cognos, Excel, and Power View.

The role requires strong data warehousing knowledge, 5+ years on SQL Server 2008+, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting. Contract options include Contract, CTH, or DP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years related experience with SQL Server 2008 or above.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and SSAS in SQL Server.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS and related BI tools is preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage data marts and OLAP cubes using SSAS in SQL Server.
• Perform dimensional modeling and define semantic layers for BI reporting.
• Develop MDX, KPIs, Perspectives, and cube security configurations.
• Build ETL packages with SSIS and optimize SSAS/ETL performance.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers on multiple projects.
