About the Role:

Join McKenney Home Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for short shifts in the beautiful SRQ area. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care to our clients, and we invite you to be a part of our caring team!

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.

Follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.

Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

Compassionate demeanor with empathy for others.

Previous experience in home care or a similar healthcare setting is a plus but NOT required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance.

Willingness to complete CPR Certification (hands-on class) - we offer a $50-$60 course.

Willingness to complete background check.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including short shifts from 2-4 hours in the Sarasota/Venice Area.

Pay Rate: MCK is transparent with the services and employment we provide. We hire from $17-$20/hr, please see below:

$17/hr- those who do not have professional experience/licensing for healthcare

$17.50-$18/hr - those licensed as a certified 75hr Home Health Aide through a school or tech center

$18-$19/hr - those licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant

$20/hr - any shift scheduled for a 2-hour block of time pays $20/hr
