Job summary
Aanseacore is seeking an experienced SRE/Observability Senior Engineer with 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Observability. You will own observability strategy, instrumentation, monitoring, tracing, dashboards, alerts, and incident management across distributed applications.
You will build dashboards in Grafana and Kibana/ELK, implement OpenTelemetry, define SLIs/SLOs, tune alerts, support on-call, and collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Compliance to improve platform reliability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Observability Engineering.
- Hands-on with two or more of New Relic, Grafana, Kibana/ELK.
- OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, structured logging, and log aggregation.
- SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, MTTD, MTTR knowledge.
- Prometheus, APM, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.
- BI tools such as Looker, DataStudio, Power BI are a plus.
- Argo/ArgoCD and incident/service management tools preferred.
- Security, audit logging, PII, data access residency awareness.
- Experience with high-volume/transactional platforms.
- AI-first mindset with Claude Copilot CLI or similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement observability strategy, instrumentation, logging, and tracing.
- Identify monitoring gaps and define SLIs/SLOs aligned with customer and business impact.
- Build and maintain New Relic, Grafana, and Kibana/ELK dashboards.
- Implement OpenTelemetry, APM, distributed tracing, and centralized logging.
- Monitor alerts, support on-call operations, incident escalation, and postmortems.
- Tune alerts and drive improvements in MTTD/MTTR and error-budget performance.
- Develop technical and business KPI dashboards for application and transaction health.
- Establish observability standards, runbooks, naming conventions, and governance.
- Ensure compliance with security, PII, audit, and data residency requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and Compliance teams to improve platform reliability.

We are seeking an experienced SRE / Observability Senior Engineer with 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Observability Engineering.
