What you get to do:

As an SRE I Engineer, you'll work with our DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams to automate our AWS deployment platform. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and refining deployment patterns and tools for feature development teams, focusing on technologies like Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, and Lambda on AWS.
• Writing Terraform, YAML, and Bash scripts to automate service and environment deployments.
• Enhancing observability through logs, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerts, integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot production issues and identify automation opportunities.
• Migrating legacy technologies to EKS on fully automated platforms.
• Continuously improving observability and automation in production and other environments.
• Expanding skills and supporting team development through internal training, conferences, and courses.
• Working remotely (this is a US-based remote-capable position).

What you will bring to the team:

• At least 1 year of experience with a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• At least 1 year of experience with a container orchestrator (Kubernetes, ECS, Swarm).
• At least 1 year of experience with Infrastructure as Code/Configuration Management tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack).
• At least 1 year of experience working in Linux environments.
• At least 1 year of experience with a CI/CD tool (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc.).
• At least 1 year of experience with logging/metrics/alerting tools (DataDog, Sumologic, FluentD, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
• Experience scripting in Bash or similar languages.
• Experience with a programming language such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C#, or C/C++.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cameras-on environment.
• A drive for simplicity and building quality solutions.
• Bonus: experience with security scanning tools, AWS Multi-Region configurations, and Clumio.

Total Rewards and Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including base salary, performance bonuses, and equity. The salary range for this role is $85,600 to $128,400 USD.
