Job summary

Critical Solutions in Norfolk, VA and Pearl Harbor, HI seeks a Mid - Systems Engineer specializing in MECM and SRE. You will deploy, monitor, and harden cloud and on‑prem platforms, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Required are DoD Secret clearance and DoD 8570.01 IAT II certs. Expect hands‑on MECM, PowerShell scripting, and IaC tooling across enterprise scale environments.

Qualifications

• Requires BS and Master's degrees.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II cert required.
• Access SIPRNet from NMCI location on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable deployments; monitor systems and improve platform reliability.
• Automate cloud infra and pipelines using IaC and automation tools.
• Enhance performance monitoring with Splunk or similar dashboards.
• Identify bottlenecks; optimize cloud infrastructure performance.
• Contribute to SRE journey with testing, automation, and IaC strategies.
• Develop and run automated test suites integrated into CI/CD.
• Build automated systems for performance, stress, and load testing.
• Collaborate with SREs, developers, and operations teams on reliability goals.
• Validate SLIs/SLOs with automated testing frameworks.
