Job summary

Enid is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Software Engineer to join our startup in Las Vegas. You will lead design, implementation, and management of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure, driving automation and deployment efficiency across enterprise software environments.

You will own AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps as the primary focus, aiming for 99.9% uptime. Solo at launch, you’ll scale operations responsibly while advancing edge-device software and security controls.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS and infrastructure-as-code expertise.
• Solid CI/CD and DevOps/SRE background.
• Ability to own reliability solo and scale practices.
• Edge/embedded device software-ops experience (Jetson, Hailo, Axelera) a plus.
• Security-conscious; SOC2/ISO 27001 familiarity helpful.
• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code.

Responsibilities

• Build and run AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Carry DevOps/SRE for reliability toward 99.9% uptime, solo.
• Manage edge-device software ops — environments, remote management, OTA/firmware processes.
• Benchmark and test edge hardware from the software side.
• Support secure, scalable operations aligned to SOC2 / ISO 27001.

Owns company's AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and DevOps as the primary focus, underpinning the 99.9% uptime target. Also handles the software side of hardware — environments, remote management, benchmarking, and testing — not physical supply chain. Solo at launch, scaling sensibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and run AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Carry DevOps/SRE for reliability toward the 99.9% uptime target, to a reasonable solo capacity.
• Manage edge-device software ops — environments, remote management, OTA/firmware processes.
• Benchmark and test edge hardware (Nvidia Jetson, Hailo, Axelera) from the software side.
• Support secure, scalable operations aligned to SOC2 / ISO 27001.

Key Requirements

• Strong AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar).
• Solid CI/CD and DevOps/SRE background.
• Comfortable owning reliability solo and scaling practices over time.
• Edge/embedded device software-ops experience ( Jetson, Hailo, Axelera a plus).
• Security-conscious. SOC2/ISO 27001 familiarity helpful.
• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code as a core part of the workflow.
• Note: software/cloud-led role — not physical hardware supply chain.
