Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group in Louisville, Kentucky is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our premier client’s operations. The role focuses on reliability, cloud platforms, and automation across the stack, with hands-on work in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in IT infrastructure, strong scripting skills, Terraform, and a proven track record building internal tooling and SLOs/SLIs, with on-site collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT infrastructure with 3+ years in SRE, cloud or platform engineering.
• Hands-on with AWS (VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, IAM, RDS, S3).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong Kubernetes and container orchestration expertise.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Enterprise networking experience—switch configuration, VLANs, network troubleshooting.
• MDM familiarity.
• Automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
• Proven ability to build internal tooling and API integrations.
• Experience defining and operating against SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Linux CLI; Windows familiarity a plus.
