Job summary

AEC Consulting Group in Atlanta seeks a Senior Vice President of Industrial Development & Construction to lead the full delivery lifecycle of large-scale, ground-up facilities across the Southeast and Midwest.

You will define development strategies, oversee site acquisition and entitlements, coordinate design and pre-construction with architects and engineers, and manage contractors to deliver Class A facilities while maintaining cost, schedule, and quality.

Qualifications

• 15–25 years of progressive experience in industrial real-estate development or construction management, with a track record on large-scale projects.
• Strong budgeting, pro forma analysis, value engineering, and financial risk management experience.
• Deep understanding of site selection, entitlement processes, and modern industrial specifications.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute development strategies for multi‑million square‑foot logistics parks and distribution centers.
• Lead site acquisition, entitlements, and local approvals to secure optimal land positions near major transport hubs.

They are strategically in search of a Senior Vice President, to lead their Development & Construction Division. In this executive role, you will drive the full delivery lifecycle of large-scale, ground-up industrial facilities, including logistics parks, warehouses, and mission-critical spaces across the Southeast and Midwest

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of site selection, entitlement processes, modern industrial specifications, and construction methodologies
• Regional Market Knowledge: Established network and track record in the Southeast and Midwest particularly Atlanta and surrounding markets, working with local permitting bodies, contractors, and service providers
• Strategic & Financial Acumen: Strong skills in budgeting, pro forma analysis, value engineering, and financial risk management on multi‑phase industrial developments
