Our client, a global name in e-commerce is seeking a senior UX/UI Designer to create high-impact email and in-app experiences.

This is 6 month contract that is onsite 5 days a week in Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate brings strong visual design and UX capabilities, AI fluency, strategic judgment, and a high bar for creative quality. This person will shape end-to-end marketing experiences, provide creative direction, and review AI-generated work to ensure polished, customer-centered output.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX/UI design for email, in-app, and digital marketing experiences.
• Develop scalable creative concepts from strategy through production, delivery, and campaign execution.
• Partner with digital marketing, regional teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.
• Provide hands-on design execution and creative direction across complex digital workflows.
• Review AI-generated creative, identify improvements, and maintain strong quality assurance standards.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into clear, customer-centered design solutions, prototypes, and digital experiences.
• Manage priorities independently while proactively communicating progress, risks, and support needs.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and strong fluency with AI-enabled design tools and workflows.
• Strong foundation in UX and visual design, with experience in digital media, email, and customer experience design.
• Marketing campaign experience from concept development through delivery and execution.
• Ability to create hands-on design work, provide clear creative direction, and maintain a high bar for quality.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent project management, prioritization, and self-management skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Preferred Background

• In-house design experience supporting product launches or integrated marketing campaigns.
• Experience marketing connected hardware and software products, including in-app or digital ecosystems.
• Background in consumer technology, smart devices, wearables, security products, or similar industries.
• Experience working in AI-first environments and using AI to improve creative workflows and output quality.
