Job description

Sr. Unix/Linux Engineer needed for a direct-hire opportunity with SOC's client to work on-site in Columbia, MD; Baltimore, MD; Herndon, VA; DC.

How you'll make an impact

  • Analyze, design, modify, configure, integrate, test, validate and deploy Delinea (Centrify) solutions to meet mission requirements.
  • Identify and document the architecturally significant aspects of the system(s), including requirements, design, implementation, and deployment "views" of the system.
  • Support Delinea (Centrify) requests utilizing existing ticketing systems and queues.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer architecture standards, security regulations, and customer approved Delinea (Centrify) architectures for Enterprise IT systems.
  • Work with the government COR and Directory Services organization to ensure Delinea (Centrify) Server Suite best practices are adhered to.
  • Establish and maintain the architectural requirements of the Delinea (Centrify) software solutions.
  • Assist customers troubleshoot Delinea (Centrify) connectivity issues to the domain.
  • Troubleshoot user authentication issues and server domain join issues.
  • Work with Delinea (Centrify) vendor support to submit bug fix request, software functionality issues, and security concerns.

What we're looking for

  • Currently holds a TS/SCI with a full-scope poly.
  • Experience operating in classified environments.
  • Related degrees and/or equivalent experience and 8 years of work experience with UNIX/LINUX administration.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. Preferably experience with the Delinea (Centrify) platform.
  • Candidate will be provided training on Delinea solutions.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of Identity Access Management principles, authentication and authorization, and resource provisioning methods.
  • Experience designing, deploying, integrating, and administrating Identity Software solutions.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Windows Active Directory.
  • Security+ Certification equivalent or higher security certification required.
  • Strong understanding of governance and compliance, specifically with FAR, DFARs, CUI and CMMC.
  • Broad understanding of FedRAMP and IL constructs.
  • Strong understanding of leadership concepts and ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience leading an engineering team, preferably having handled tasking, resolving personnel issues, and providing actionable feedback.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs.
